Mr. Ivan Petrov from NSBS is the new president of the International Federation of Forwarding Associations - FIATA

At today's General Meeting of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) Mr. Ivan Petrov, who is Deputy Chairman of the National Association of Bulgarian Freight Forwarders (NSBS), was elected President of the Federation.

 

Mr. Ivan Petrov is Deputy Chairman of the Board of NSBS and is responsible for the international activities of the Association. He was chairman of the NSBS for two terms from 2000 to 2006.


Mr. Petrov is Chairman of the Regional Institute Europe and Chairman of the FIATA Working Party on Rail Transport. Secretary General of CLEKAT and Chairman of the Joint Working Group JUIC / FIATA and OSJD / FIATA, where railway and logistics companies are members. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Presidents of the Balkan Freight Forwarders' Associations.


Mr. Ivan Petrov has been a manager of TRANS EXPRESS EOOD since 1991, Doctor of Economics from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia and has specialized in the field of international transport, forwarding and logistics in the USA, Austria, Germany and Russia.
