A special guest at the round table was His Excellency Mr Viktor Temirbaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria, who presented the current situation and challenges of trade and transport connectivity both between the two countries and in general - the countries of the Caspian Sea region and the EU. In the ensuing discussion, the main organisational, technical, infrastructural, economic and political problems in this regard were outlined, and in conclusion it was decided that meetings between all interested parties from Bulgaria and Kazakhstan should become more frequent and that concrete solutions to the existing bilateral problems should be sought.
